Spend several days exploring Portugal’s lovely capital, returning each night to the luxurious The One Palacio da Anunciada, a lovely hotel housed in a 16th-century building and furnished with the best modern amenities. Feel like royalty as you journey through Lisbon. Set upon seven hills, Lisbon is one of Europe's great capital cities. Begin with a privately escorted city tour, on which you'll explore Edward VII park, Liberty Avenue and Rossio Square before diving into the perfectly preserved medieval district of Alfama. See Lisbon's Se (cathedral) and Blackhorse Square, then go on to Belem. It's from here that Portuguese caravels set out on their voyages of trade and exploration. Today, it remains home to the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery and the Tower of Belem. 

The following day, your private guide takes you north to some of Portugal's most famous and beautiful towns, beginning with Fatima, a religious pilgrimage site where three children are believed to have seen the Virgin Mary. Next, you head for the coast and Nazare, home to some of the world's largest waves, before turning back inland to Obidos, the delightful walled city that perfectly captures the beauty of Portugal's countryside. Be sure to try a shot of ginja, the local cherry-based liqueur before you return to Lisbon. 

At the end of your stay, you’ll transfer back to the airport to return home or continue to your next destination.
